Outdoor fire pit from Outdora.com

After exploring on the web, I discovered the coolest thing that would have made such a difference when I’ve attended beach parties in the past. Look at this great-looking outdoor fire pit made by a company called Outdora located in Sonoma, California. Naturally, you don’t have to use this only at a beach. It would be great for a campground, a patio, a front porch, or a backyard as well.

I still recall sitting near a campfire at a beach in San Francisco. Even though it was a summer evening, San Francisco summers are really cold. I was shivering away. The fire helped; however, people had to take the time to collect enough driftwood to build the fire. That would have been so convenient to have a pre-constructed fire pit that we could have used along with fuel we could have brought with us. Also clean-up would have been so much easier as well.

Out of curiosity, I called the customer service line. The guy who answered the phone was so helpful. He said that you can use charcoal or wood in a good portion of their outdoor fire pits. The company also sells natural gas and propane gas fire pits. My brother and sister-in-law use a gas grill and love it. I personally love to use charcoal in my grills as I adore the flavor that it gives to the meat my husband and I cook.

Another feature I really like is how functional they are. My husband and I are frequent grillers; however, we only use this grill for cooking food. Looking at their huge selection of outdoor fire pits, I can visualize how relaxing it would be to set up a couple of chairs nearby to eat our meals out there or simply to enjoy the great out-of-doors on pleasant weather evenings. With the outdoor fire pit, we could even go outside and enjoy the stars and the fire on cooler evenings as well. They even have some fire pits that convert into tables. That would be extra convenient as you wouldn’t have to purchase a table in addition to the fire pit. You could simply purchase the fire pit and voila – two for the price of one.

I noticed some other cool feature about Outdora’s outdoor fire pits. They have some on wheels available. They sell covers you could use to protect them from inclement weather. The best feature of all is their Chiminea’s mini chimney that actually “conducts smoke up and away from your guests.” This would be a great asset so that you are not constantly having to relocate your chair or move from one side of the fire pit to another as you attempt to escape the smoke.

Owning an outdoor fire pit sounds like a great idea. It would be a romantic asset for couples. It would promote family togetherness as each member enjoys the outdoors and each other rather than drifting off to watch TV and play video games. It also would be very convenient to travel with a fire pit so that you can save money by cooking on the beach or at a camp ground rather than going out for a meal in a restaurant.
