Here is how the evening will work.

Professional Storyteller Guerry McConnell with tell spooky stories prior to intermission. “Guerry McConnell offers ‘family friendly’ stories of monsters and strange happenings, including Tennessee tales of the “Tremblin’ Tennessee Wyooter” monster of Middle Tennessee, “The Ghost of Mable’s Gable” created by Jim May and “Wicked John & The Devil”, an Appalachian tale. Nothing too scary, because Guerry spooks easily! Guerry is a storyteller and songwriter who sometimes combines original songs with her stories. ”

After a short intermission and a bit of hot cider …

Debbie Dunn aka DJ Lyons a professional storyteller and published author will tell the story of “The Bell Witch Unveiled” based on her book entitled “The Bell Witch Unveiled At Last! The True Story Of A Poltergeist” written under her pen name of DJ Lyons. DJ Lyons attempts to clear the name of Cate Williams Batts (often spelled Kate). This was the woman wrongly accused of being the poltergeist who haunted the family of John and Lucy Bell from 1817 to 1821. Debbie tells this story in first-person perspective, portraying the part of Cate Batts herself.

We hope to see you all there.
